Sara McFarlin
English and Literature 

 

Sara graduated from Grand Valley State University where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality and Event Management. At GVSU Sara received several nominations and awards including Student Intern of the Year.  She also participated in various professional associations as both a volunteer and advisory council member.

   Sara has a passion for cooking, traveling, reading and writing. Joining the Harkness Institute family is a dream fulfilled. She teaches with passion because she believes education brings opportunity and prosperity. With the education students receive at Harkness, they contribute to building a stronger community and have a deeper appreciation and understanding of the world.
